Activity: Beginner Mountain Biking (Private Group Only)

Course Description: This activity involves following local mountain bike trails that will encounter more technical terrain. Our instructor will gauge your current ability level and pick a suitable route in the beautiful Peak District. You will make stops along the way to work on basic technical skills that will help you along your journey.

    • Weight Shift

    • Track Stand

    • Front Wheel Lift

    • Rear Wheel Lift

    • Advanced Braking

    • Advanced Cornering

    • Drop-Off’s

    • Bunny Hopping

    • Selecting Lines

    • Advanced Climbing / Descending

    • Jumping

 

Who is it for / Pre-requisites: 

This course is aimed at beginner mountain riders with little or no experience riding on uneven terrain. We would expect clients to have a moderate level of fitness or possibly look at taking our e-bike option. This experience is only offered as a private group booking, due to the varying abilities and fitness levels that may come together on an open booking.

Suitable for families and children 8+ (Guidance only), who must all be able to ride a bike.

Location and Travel Arrangements: 

This course does not have a set venue, so travel arrangements will be discussed whilst you make your booking.

Local facilities: At the beginning of the day you will have access to toilet facilities and refreshments. When you are out on the trails there will be no access to any facilities.
