Course Description: This activity will start with one of the highest abseils in the Peak District. You will learn the basic skills to control your ascent before taking on the challenge. If you master it straight away you will have the option to have a few more goes.

Location and Travel Arrangements:
The course will meet in the car park at Millersdale Station Car Park, which is a disused railway line along the Monsal Trail. The group then take a 5 minute walk to the to the abseil bridge. Clients will be expected to provide their own transport unless alternative arrangements are made in advance. Where possible we can collect clients from Buxton train station.
By Car: Please follow postcode SK17 8SN, which will bring you along the B6049 between. There will be a turning signposted Wormhill, which will take you up over the riverand up a hill. Pass under 2 low bridges and the turning will be on your left.
By Train: Travel to Buxton Station in Derbyshire.
Local facilities:
At the beginning of the day you will have access to food, drink and toilet facilities at the visitor centre. café. There will be no facilities available at the abseil bridge but, you will be able to walk back to the visitor centre if required.

We do not provide accommodation but can recommend the following camping/campervan/caravanning providers:
