Course Description: This experience is usually for those with some caving experience or a real thirst for adventure, as it is more committing than the beginner experience. You will access deeper cave systems that require entry and exits via abseils and ladders. You will still have the opportunity learn about natural cave formations and how they were formed. Although the majority of the system will allow walking, there will be sections that are a little tighter and may require short sections of crawling. You will also have the opportunity to increase the level of adventure if you choose through some instructor challenges.

What you can expect:

  • To use rope systems to ascend / descend into lower sections of the cave

  • To experience abseiling and ladder climbing

  • The opportunity to attempt underground squeezes and scrambles

  • To learn how caves and cave formations are formed

Who is it for / Pre-requisites: This course is for anyone with a thirst for adventure and a desire to explore the underground world. Some cave experience is recommended, but not required.
