Course Description: This activity involves learning about the nature, and how natural resources were historically used to survive. Activities will depend upon the time of year and the availability of natural resources, but may include; making fire, carving, axe throwing, plant and tree recognition, foraging food, sourcing, cleaning and boiling water, cooking on a campfire, putting up tarps and hammocks using natural resources. We DO NOT do shelter building due to its impact on the woodland habitat.

Who is it for / Pre-requisites: This course is for anyone who enjoys being outdoors. Suitable for families with young children 6+ (Guidance only). Client : Instructor Ratio 1:10.

Location and Travel Arrangements: Venue to be confirmed. Clients will be expected to provide their own transport unless alternative arrangements are made in advance. Where possible we can collect clients from nearby train stations depending on the chosen venue.

Local facilities: You will have access to toilets and changing facilities at the beginning of the day. There are NO facilities to purchase food or drinks so please bring your own.
Accommodation: We do not provide accommodation but can recommend the following but cab make recommendations depending on the activity location. Pleas call us for advice.
