Leadership Course: Indoor Climbing Assistant
Course Description: The Indoor Climbing Assistant qualification is for those with competence in the basic skills of climbing who wish to assist qualified climbing instructors and coaches in the management of their sessions. Indoor Climbing Assistants are assessed as being competent in their role supporting qualified instructors and coaches but are not qualified to manage groups independently.
Training and assessment are both completed on the same day
The course will focus on the following syllabus areas:

Registration / Training pre-requisites:

You must be at least 16

You must be able to belay, fit a harness and tie-in

5 indoor / outdoor climbing sessions either as a climber or as a belayer
