Emergency First Aid at Work - 1 Day

 

Course Description: This course is designed for those who may be required to administer first aid in a work environment, but are not working as a nominated 1st Aid responder. The course can be tailored to include likely first aid occurrences within your line of work.

What you can expect:

• A predominantly practical course.

• Scenario based assessments

• To cover the following emergency situations; primary and secondary assessments, wounds and bleeding, resuscitation and AED use, disorders of respiration and circulation

Who is it for / Pre-requisites: Anybody who is likely to administer first aid or who would like to upskill in case of an emergency. There are no pre-requisites for this course.

• CPR Manikins

• AED Training Machines

• Demonstration resources

• Course booklets

• Stationary

• Scenario role play dress-up

• Tea, coffee and water

Location: The location of the course will depend upon if it is an open course (venue provided by Venture Elements) or a private course (venue can be provided by the customer).
